Audits for Dive and ROV Systems

Acknowledging the importance of the high safety standards that are in place in the Oil and Gas Industry and the limited knowledge of the Contractors, End Clients and/or Insurance Companies for Dive and ROV operations, iOGP Technology has organised an Auditor Course for Dive (Air, Saturation, Mixed Gas and Scuba Replacement Units) and ROV Systems. Working together with the National Hyperbaric Centre we were able to achieve this goal.

Organising this course was beneficial to assure a large pool of professional and certified auditors. These certified members of the iOGP team are selected bearing in mind their professional experience of Dive and ROV Operations. iOGP auditors will be following IMCA guidelines and will have referencing available to them on local legislation and regulations.

Following this IMCA based training, iOGP Technology is able to assure a high level of auditing on various Dive and ROV Systems. Audits for Dive and ROV Systems are necessary to indicate, if any, safety and operational issues prior or during mobilisation. iOGP Auditors will assist to solve and 'close-out' any non-conformances by providing professional consultancy.

The main goals for this independent audit are, but not limited to:

  • Confirm the Audit Plan;
  • Co-ordinate the Audit team (if applicable);
  • Chair an opening meeting with the auditee;
  • Manage the audit process;
  • Execute the audit to completion;
  • Produce final report of audit findings.
